CreativeLive: 28 Days to Make

 In Creativity, Inspiration

Today I woke up to this great video from Chase Jarvis in my inbox. His company, CreativeLive (which I talked about here, and have subsequently taken several classes through because they are fantastic) has launched 28 Days to Create, in which they will give you a new prompt each day of something to create for the entire month of February. They say it takes about 3–4 weeks to form a habit, so the goal here is to get you creating everyday (something I’ve been actively trying to do since January 1st and have had great success). It’s really very exciting. I encourage everyone to sign up and play along with me. Here’s the page where you can do it.

I’m going to document the things I create all month on this blog. None of them will take more than 5–15 minutes. Day one’s prompt was to draw your drink. I spent about five minutes on this one.

It’s not so much the end product as it is just making something, in my mind. But I’m sure these will improve throughout the month. This one was done in a few minutes in my car in the parking lot of a Whole Foods.

Fun, right? Please sign up and create something everyday this month. And I’d love to see what you come up with. So share it with me here, on Facebook, or Twitter. Can’t wait to see what you do!
