Happy 100th, National Parks Service!

 In Travel

So far this year Laura and I have had the great fortune to visit three U.S. National Parks: Mesa Verde in Cortez, Colorado, Grand Canyon in Arizona, and Joshua Tree in California. Each of them had their own breathtaking landscapes and meditative energy—perfect for our honeymoon, which is what we were on when we toured these magical places.

Today marks the 100th birthday of the National Parks Service, and you’re invited to help celebrate by participating in events going on around the country. And if you haven’t been to one of these awe-inspiring parks yet this year, why not plan a trip to one? Chances are, you’re not too far from one since there is at least one in every state. You can #FindYourPark here. No matter which one you visit, it’s going to be a sight to behold. I look forward to visiting the rest of them.

In the meantime, here are some photos from our visits this year.
