The New Year

I’m not one for making New Year’s resolutions. I don’t see much use in it since I think you can decide on any day of the year that you’re going to do something to improve your life. Yet, I’m thinking about it a lot recently, and I think I’m going to make one simple resolution for 2016: be better.

Trying to do the best I can is something that’s in the back of my mind all the time. But I think consciously trying to be better is important to achieving it. So that’s what 2016 is going to be about for me. I’m going to try to be better in my relationship, better as a designer, better as a photographer, and better as a human. There’s a lot of room to grow from where I am right now, and I’m excited to stay focused and make it happen. 2016 is going to be great, and I can’t wait to come back here at the end of it to share my progress. I hope the two or three of you who read this have a wonderful 2016, too. I hope it’s filled with life, passion, and creativity. I know mine will be.
